The First-Timer's Guide to FaceFit: What to Know Before You Book
You've seen it on Instagram. Someone mentioned it in conversation. Maybe you've been curious for a while but weren't quite sure what actually happens inside a FaceFit session, or whether it's really for you.
This is everything you need to know before your first visit.
What is a FaceFit workout, exactly?
FaceFit is a gym for your face. Your face has 42+ muscles and, just like the rest of your body, those muscles can be trained, toned, and sculpted through targeted movement and technique.
A FaceFit session is not a facial. It is not a spa treatment. It is a structured workout that works below the surface of the skin, activating and sculpting the muscles that give your face its shape and definition.
The result is a natural lift. No needles, no downtime, no artificial volume. Just your own face, activated.
What happens during your first session?
Your first session starts with a brief consultation so your trainer understands your face, your concerns, and what you want to work on. From there, you move into the workout.
The FaceFit Sculpt is our core workout and the one most first-timers start with. It runs approximately 35 minutes and follows four stages:
-
Stretching: loosening and preparing the facial muscles before work begins.
-
Warm-up: increasing circulation and getting blood flowing to the face.
-
Cardio: activating the muscles with targeted movement techniques.
-
Sculpting: the defining phase, where lifting, contouring, and toning techniques are applied.
Throughout the session, your trainer uses a combination of manual techniques, specialized tools, and pressure-point work. It feels firm, intentional, and often deeply relaxing.
What does it feel like?
Most first-timers are surprised by two things: how much tension they were holding in their face without realizing it, and how different they look walking out.
During the session, the movements range from light lymphatic strokes to deeper sculpting pressure. Some areas, especially the jaw and temples, can feel quite tense on a first visit if you carry stress there. That release is part of the process.
After the session, clients typically notice:
-
A visible lift, particularly around the cheekbones and jawline.
-
Reduced puffiness, especially under the eyes and along the jaw.
-
A healthy glow from increased circulation.
-
A feeling of lightness, like tension has been physically removed.
How should you prepare?
-
Come with a clean face or light makeup. Heavy foundation is fine but will need to be removed before the session starts.
-
Drink water before you arrive. Hydration supports lymphatic drainage and helps your skin respond better.
-
Let your trainer know about any recent cosmetic procedures, skin conditions, or sensitivities. This helps us adapt the techniques to suit your face.
-
Arrive a few minutes early for your first visit so you have time to settle in without rushing into the session.
What about boosters?
Boosters are add-ons you can combine with your workout for enhanced results. As a first-timer, you don't need to overthink this. Your trainer will guide you based on what your face needs.
Some popular first-timer additions include the Skin IV for instant hydration and glow, the Drain Power for visible depuffing, and the CooLift for a firm, refreshed finish. You can always add a booster on the day once you've seen how the workout alone feels.
When will you see results?
You will see a difference on the same day. The immediate results -- lift, glow, and depuffing -- are visible within hours of your session.
The deeper results, improved muscle tone, better-defined contours, and lasting skin quality changes, build over time with consistency. Most clients notice a meaningful shift after four to six sessions.
This is why we offer a first-timer package: three FaceFit Sculpt sessions that let you experience the real, cumulative effect of training your face regularly.
Who is FaceFit for?
FaceFit is for anyone who wants to take care of their face in a proactive, natural way. Our clients range from their twenties to their sixties. Some come for sculpting and definition. Some come for relaxation and tension release. Some come before events. Some come every week.
What they have in common is a preference for results that look like themselves -- just more rested, more defined, and more alive.
If that sounds like you, your first session is a good place to start.
